What We Do as an Occupational Therapist
Occupational Therapists work to improve and restore motion, strength, coordination, and balance for return to full functional ability. They help people optimize their independence and ability to accomplish their normal activities of daily living following physical impairments or injury.
An Occupational Therapist not only directly treats the injury, but also focuses on improving function for improved life skills.
An Occupational Therapist is trained extensively in anatomy and the musculoskeletal system to aid injury recovery.
